But the scandal-prone pop star may have a fresh controversy on his hands thanks to a recent tweet about the hot-button topic of abortion. Warning: West’s opinions and language may be offensive to some readers, so continue reading at your own discretion.
In a tweet posted late last night, West writes “an abortion can cost a ballin’ n—-s up to 50gs maybe a 100. Gold diggin’ b—-es be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my n—-s!” He followed it shortly after with what appears to be an addendum: “It ain’t happen to me but I know people.”
The message incited strong reactions from many of West’s Twitter readers, including outspoken singer Lily Allen. “[N]ever has a tweet put me in such a bad mood,” she tweeted earlier today in reference to West’s post. “This is wrong on so many levels.”
In what seems to be an ill-timed coincidence, the previous post on West’s Twitter feed was a picture of pop prince Justin Bieber, who recently landed in hot water over a Rolling Stone news item that quoted him saying, “I really don’t believe in abortion. … I think [an embryo] is a human. It’s like killing a baby.” The magazine later stated that the quote was incomplete; the full version, which was printed in their current cover story on Bieber, includes the following: “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad [referring to abortion in the case of rape], but everything happens for a reason. I don’t know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

I think Kanye means that a woman would ask for lots of money to agree to an abortion. Obviously, actually having and raising a kid would cost more.
