The video was filmed in Rio in mid March 2010, midway into her Elements of Freedom Tour (Alicia’s pregnancy was revealed in May 2010). The single/video was supposed to be released in March 2010, but they opted to promote Unthinkable instead, which is what both Alicia and her record company wanted. Then they shelved this video

Actually the song sucks. It didn’t do well on itunes, and Alicia and the record label decided that Alicia and Drakes song Unthinkable was more marketable and radio friendly. Due to poor sales of Alicia’s cd, it didn’t as well as her others so Drake being new and hot, they decided it would be better to go with that song. Miss beYAWNcy feels that everything she does is gold probably pushed for the rights to release the song on the verge of her releasing her new cd. She is an attention wh*re so let’s not forget that, she’s also the only person to do a video for her entire cd so if they released the song and video two decades from now, beYUCKy needs to be seen and heard and would’ve released in the year 2085 if it were up to her.
Love this song. It kind of sticks in your head when you listen to it. It also sounds better and better the more you listen to it. Alicia and Beyonce look amazing in the preview for the video, especially Alicia. It’s a shame it’s not being released. These two together are really good.
So Beyonce has a copyright claim. Well then I guess it would be her decision too as to whether this is ever released. Strange to shoot a video and then not release it. It’s like someone likes to tease us. From what I saw of the video before it was pulled by Beyonce looked really good. Anyway theres other videos to watch. But this seems like such a waste of energy and time.
