Chris Brown raps alongside Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes in 'Look At Me Now' video: Watch it here

Chris Brown is a singer and dancer first. However, he does little of the former and plenty of the latter in the video for his latest single from his forthcoming F.A.M.E., “Look At Me Now.” The R&B star, 21, takes a shot at rapping in the clip. And if not for the song’s guests, I’d say he does well. But it’s tough shining as a rhymer when hip-hop titans Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne are sharing the light. Busta’s rapid fire flow and Weezy’s frenetic verse pretty much blow Chris’ off the track.

Luckily, what he lacks lyrically he more than makes up for with his dance skills. Watch Chris pop off with Wayne, Busta, and a cameo from Back to the Future‘s DeLorean DMC-12 after the jump.

Hmmm…the editing made me dizzy…I got a headache, hard on the eyes to watch…didn’t understand a doggone word. But I gotta hand it to them for pushing the envelope.

there appear to be no humans involved in the making of the “music” at all. as for the so called lyrics, they could’ve been written by any 15 year old kid who’s read a Penthouse letter. L’il Wayne’s portion of the “song” is particularly vile…as if he’s auditioning for a gig answering 900 number callers in poorly rhymed verse. all in all, a musical humiliation.

Chris Brown is a great dancer, that’s it, not a great singer, definitely not a good rapper, and he’s not going to be forgiven for beating Rihanna no matter how much he demands it or thinks he’s owed it. He’s finished because he’ll never get the support he needs to continue as a solo artist, which is precisely why everything you see from him now is colabs with others.

    • Deez

You obviously dont know alot about music do you? Chris Brown is a terrific singer, look up songs like Next 2 you, up 2 you or Crawl, many of those he shows great vocals, As for his fan base, its stronger then ever, u really need to freshen up ur music i.q cuz for the “colab complaint” that u wrote about, “Look at me Now” is CHRIS’S SONG, on CHRIS’S ALBUMB, which means artists are asking to be on HIS record, hes not asking to be on their record, its his record and they are asking to be on it. Plus Yeah 3x his solo single is toppin the charts….so hes doin great

You obviously don’t know business the record label makes their money off of the album sales, he begged not to be reduced to a mixtape artist, he took his own money did the mixtape and got one hit the record company then green lighted the FAME album. However, that has been leaked to death along with his controversial statements and actions it will be a flop like Graffiti. Why buy the album when you can download the leaked crap for free, that results in the record company losing money. The artist gets money from tours, he can not tour anywhere except in the states and he was allowed in Australia, only six dates. He cannot keep funding himself and the record company will reduce him to below where he already is, B list with Bow Wow, Ray J, etc. The real money is overseas for him and with the ban its not going to happen, nor does this arrogant, selfish peen deserve it.

      • @Real Talk

You wish he was done but he’s clearly NOT. Write all the negativity you want, Chris Brown is going on and strong.
I agree with KF, his artistry is way better now than before the incident. Because he can relate to his life and can express real emotions now. Great things are coming up for Chris, maybe greater than what he could have done before. As long as his keeps his artistry professionnal and well-rounded, he’ll become the legend he’s supposed to become.

K get over it son, Chris has already been FORGIVEN by the ppl that matter and his career is far from over. #dealwitit
      Good job Breezy never dissapoints. F A M E……March 22

      • No He is NOT

      • @No He is NOT

You didn’t forgive him yet you’re still checking his news. How pitiful is that ?
Chris Brown went from being a cheesy cute teenager into a 21 year old hot stuff so women protest groups and sane adults are not his primary target audience. Try coming-to-age freaks instead. From what I see, they are everywhere, not just on ‘EBT’.

    • morgan merriwether

K are you a fan or a enemy to chris because that was not support at all what you said its like u encourged his moves but beat him up afterwords whats up with that.

      • que

what public? yours or mine, my public forgives as we have been taught by the Lord my heavenly Father, not yours would prefer to condemmed a person to death. and by the way, we tend to live longer because we dont hold hatred n our hearts><)

    • MT

Obviously you didn’t watch him on SNL. Wait till you hear his solo efforts “she ain’t you” and “up to you”. Also try to catch “Yesterday” with Diddy Dirty Money which premiered on Vevo last week. His vocals are outstanding.
“Don’t hate the player, hate the game”. This kid is talented. I’m so glad he’s back.

  • Lupe

I wish he would shave those nasty pubes on his chin. Lmfao

    • Ton

Great Job! I can’t wait to see that article in Black and White, pslaee, pslaee save me a copy! Looking forward to seeing the whole film after hearing so much from you about it.

  • Hater?=That’s Ignorant

The video is a mess and the other artist outshine him. Haters is such a juvenile and overused, unintelligent term that these kids definitely need vocabulary lessons. An expression of an opinion is just that, not a “hater”.

  • Shawn

Busta killed as always, Lil Wayne was alright as always, and Chris was trying to hard to be hard. The beat was annoying to no end. And Chris is getting paper, Court Papers that is.

  • Tellman

I love these guys. Chris Brown shocked me especially in his song ‘for us’ with Rihanna. I hope this song will be equally interesting, regards Tellman Dube.

  • JohnDoe

Chris Brown cannot be thuggish. Ever. Other than him, it’s good.

  • LEB

    Luv it! Go Chris!
