Rihanna speaks out on Chris Brown: 'We don't have to talk ever again in my life'

rihanna-publicity

If anyone thought Rihanna’s move to relax the restraining order against Chris Brown meant the R&B diva was open to reconnecting with her abusive former boyfriend, they can think again.

“It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge,” Rihanna told Rolling Stone in her cover story.

The singer says she agreed to modify the court order for purely professional reasons.

“We don’t have to talk ever again in my life,” Rihanna said concerning Brown, whose album just debuted at number one on the album charts. “I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing—it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows—that definitely made it difficult for him.”

The magazine, which features the Barbadian singer flaunting her flanks and a poof of maraschino-cherry hair on its cover, also got Rihanna to open up about her sex life.

If the lyrics to her current Top 10 single “S&M” weren’t explicit enough for you, they you’ll be happy to know she thinks “being submissive in the bedroom is really fun.”

“That’s fun to me,” Rihanna explained. “I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned—you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I’d rather have him use his hands.”

She even opened up about what happens when she’s the Only Girl (In the House). “When you’re alone, and those horny moments come up, pictures can be very handy,” Rihanna said, though she stated she doesn’t have any recent materials.

“I haven’t gotten a d— picture in a long time. I think people are a little afraid. It can turn out bad,” Rihanna opined. “Well, Skype is safer.”

In other news, stock in Skype just shot up 200%.

Been a Rihanna fan, (not fanatic), since she first started. Glad to see her grow to a mature, independent woman [sp]. I cannot believe you all went out and bought that CONVICTED assaulter’s cd.

If he beat your sister/daughter, would you still have ponied up the cash?

    • LOL

All she had to do was to keep quiet and do as she was told…

      • michele

        lol that is so true

    • sorry but…

Did you read the article or atleast the last scentence in this paragraph…That’s fun to me,” Rihanna explained. “I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned—you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I’d rather have him use his hands.”

Im not trying to condone anything I just think she shouldnt be talking about s&m and whips and chains…has she donated any time or money to domestic violence victims…its sad when they are BOTH trying to move on and he gets the flack and questioning over and over he is just as much trying to get over it as she is…

      • john

There is a big difference between kinky and criminal. Also, he is not the only one questioned about it but he is the only one who cant answer a simple question. His reaction to the questioning clearly shows how immature he really is and solidifies my belief that he is abusive. You dont see Rhianna running away everytime someone asks her about it because she is mature enough to accept the truth about herself.

      • TQB

She has donated every interview she’s given since the event and all her pride to speak publicly about the incident. The courage she demonstrated in not allowing this to get brushed under the rug gives endless inspiration to other victims. She allowed herself to become a poster child.

And why can’t she talk about whips, chains or anything else? SHE did not commit a crime. HER behavior does not need to be modified. He gets the flack because HE is the criminal.

      • True Blue

I really don’t get the logic that because she’s been a victim of domestic violence, she can’t enjoy S&M and be open about it. It’s like saying rape victims shouldn’t publicly talk about enjoying sex. Look, there’s a fundamental difference between something that’s CLEARLY consensual, harmless & fun and actual abuse. Anyone who would take this interview to mean that she condones domestic violence or WANTS to be abused is either a complete idiot, a total prude, a sadistic psycho who will look for anything to justify his sick behavior or a bitter CB fan who cannot move on from the incident and wants to find a way to blame Rihanna for what happened. Whichever way you slice it, it’s stupid.

      • Rhonni09

He is 21 years old, it happened when he was 19 years old, seriously are you people dumb? It is not right but it happened and his trying to focus on his music!

      • Mike

        @True Blue:

Excellently said. There is a HUGE difference between the playfulness Rihanna enjoys in the bedroom and what Chris Brown did to her a few years back. She is showing amazing maturity through all of this; it would be very easy to be vindictive and try to harm his career. He has never given an apology that didn’t have some caveat attached. I truly don’t understand how everyone has forgiven him so quickly and catapulted his album to #1. And Rhonni09, sorry, is there really that much difference between 19 and 21?

      • Perfect

@John you’re an idiot! Chris is young and is under constant pressure by the media in no way shape or form is he abusive. Abuse is a repeated act. Riahnna is the person with the history of abusive behavior dating back to the savage attack against her younger brother on to her smacking Chris around in a VA airport to her admission that she “disciplines” her men sometimes using the heel of her shoe! Who the hell is she to discipline anyone. Rihanna is the person who has been and will be abusive. Trust that she will be in another relationship where she thinks she can get away with it!

“In other news, stock in Skype just shot up 200%.”

Who comes up with this cutesy crap? Oh, that’s right—Joseph Brannigan Lynch.

      • Pete

        Oh poor Bluto

    • True Blue

Has it ever occurred to you that people may buy a person’s music because they care for the music, not because they think the artist is a great human being? Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Axl Rose, Tommy Lee, Eminem just to name a few have all been violent towards their past girlfriends/wives at some point, yet funnily enough no one complains that buying their music is equivalent to supporting their misdeeds.

      • Allison

Actually, Eminem has (deservedly) taken a TON of criticism for his lyrics; Axl Rose definitely didn’t help himself with his reputation – really, what is he doing now? Jimi and James, well, unfortunately, women didn’t have the same standing in culture when they would have been mistreating anyone.

      • Perfect

@True Blue, you spew a great deal of crap on every site! At this point everyoneknows you are a disgusting RiWHORE stan. Although I agree with you ppl purchase CD’s becuase they like the music and in some cases the artist/group. It is obvious that you don’t purchase CDs because you believe that an artist is a decent/great human being…lol you stan for Raggedy RihANNa!

    • Rhonni09

Where do I start, Chris brown is sooooo talented and it goes to show that at the end of the day it is all about the music. I love his music and the past should stay in the past. I like how Rihanna’ s image has gone from good to don’t wear any clothes cause it’s cool and have lots of sex young girls!! Good role model it’s soft porn she also needs to check herself. What message is she sending to young girls. Should be about the music not sex !!!!!!

      • Mike

I like how with Chris Brown “it is all about the music,” and he should be forgiven…then two sentences later you harp on Rihanna for her image and the “message” she is “sending to young girls.” If sexuality is important to her, then why wouldn’t it be a natural component of her music? You can’t have it both ways–if Chris Brown should be allowed to be a musician and not a role model, then so should Rihanna.

It’s ALWAYS the female artists who are raked over the coals for their sexuality. But an abuser should be forgiven and forgotten.

      • ririfan

ok, really…what is rihana thinking of herself..what is this silly “nasty girl” image she is trying to potray. Honey it is really not that serious…always remember you background and your values. If you did not have a proper upbringing it is never too late for you to acquire one. Please maintain the young and intelligent women that you are..this society is all certain things and media hype…and selling yourself short. Whoever is imploring on you to compromise your values for this sex thing…think twice – you out to be culturally smart.

      • Perfect

@Mike, yet another idiot on this page! REPEAT AFTER ME…ABUSE IS A REPEATED ACT! CHRIS AN DRIWHORE HAD 1 FIGHT WHICH IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION!Now if you ppl can forgive WIFE BEATERS: EMINEM, CHARLIE SHEEN and PEDOPHILES: JERRY SEINFELD, LEE MAJOR, WOODY ALLEN ,DON JOHNSON, ROB LOWE, ROMAN POLASKI, HELSEY GRAMMER, surely a 21 yr old that had 1 fight 2 yrs ago shouldn’t be a problem!

    • Perfect

This RACIST MEDIA SLANT on every damn Chris Brown Rihanna post must stop! 19-yr-old CHris brown and 21-yr-old Rihanna Fenty were not in an abusive relationship! THEY HAD 1 FIGHT! ABUSE IS REPEATED! I hate that the biased media has ruined the lives of 2 very young ppl unnecessarly while allowing SERIAL WIFE BEATERS:EMINEM, MICKEY ROURKE, CHARLIE SHEEN, JACK NICHOLSON, NICHOLAS CAGE, MARV ALBERT, STEVEN SEAGAL, JOSH BROLIN, OZZY OSBOURNE, TOMMY LEE, CHRISTAIN SLATER, NORM MAILER (shot his wife), ANDRE AGISSI, MICHAEL DOUGLAS, JAMES TAYLOR, DAVID HASSELHOFF, SEAN PENN, PAUL MCARTNEY ALEC & DANIAL BALDWIN to skirt by with no mention at all ever of their true wife beating antics! Chris & Rihanna had 1, ONE, UNO FIGHT 2 YRS AGO! Enough is a damn enough at this point! LET THESE YOUNG PPL LIVE THEIR LIVES! THEY ARE 21 AND 23 NOW let it the F*** GO! My GOD!!!!

    • Perfect

@against_women_beaters, STFU calling Chris names! How in the world could anyone praise Rihanna’s S&M sickness as growth or maturity? After reading excerpt from her RS article I can pretty much dicsern what happened in 09! Ppl who are sick with S&M fetish need to a) link with another person who shares their kinky lifestyle or b) cultivate (convert) a person into that lifesyle. Rihanna was 18 when she started dating 16-yr-old Chris Brown. I doubt if this country boy from the sticks knew what hit him when this S&M loving freak from the islands came bouncing his way. “She likes a man to use his hands…I like to be beaten”! Seems like they were engaged in a freaky little gane that got out of hand to me!

  • Lee Harvey

    He should be in jail.

    • Tracie

If he were in jail you would STILL be a miserable person. Find something else to do. Hating Chris Brown is a waste of your time.

    • MT

Lil’Wayne has been in jail and he’s still making music. Just sayin’

    • Perfect

When pedophiles: JERRY SEINFELD, LEE MAJOR, WOODY ALLEN ,DON JOHNSON, ROB LOWE, ROMAN POLASKI, HELSEY GRAMMER and serial wife: EMINEM, MICKEY ROURKE, CHARLIE SHEEN, JACK NICHOLSON, NICHOLAS CAGE, MARV ALBERT, STEVEN SEAGAL, JOSH BROLIN, OZZY OSBOURNE, TOMMY LEE, CHRISTAIN SLATER, NORM MAILER (shot his wife), ANDRE AGISSI, MICHAEL DOUGLAS, JAMES TAYLOR, DAVID HASSELHOFF, SEAN PENN, PAUL McCARTNEY ALEC & DANIAL BALDWIN go then we can talk about little Chris!

  • tangie

U b a fool u need to sue his a__s . He would begging to b back in the hip-hop world. Don’t worry his day is Comming from a man that going to scar up his face.

  • efrain

I did not buy the f.a.m.e. I waited to buy Femme Fatale instead yesterday!

  • Stephanie

Who the hell cares if she never talks to him again. Keep your ass out of VA. The kids you have cursed out at the malls and KD will remember. And the punches you have thrown at Chris prior to LA will see the light. Good Girl gone Bad…Nawh…Bad Girl that was never Good.

  • Tracie

Read the actual article yourself. I hate the way blogs such as this one try to slant a story to fit their beliefs, desires, hopes. You don’t have any idea what Rihanna wants only what YOU want.

  • mel

i love rihanna..i love that she has moved on personally and professionally. And what does cbreezy music have to do with his personal career??let us be real..Alot of entertainers have horrible relationships with women and we still support there music, so what the difference btw cbrown and them??I dont care what ppl say, I will support his music because i like his music not because i like him personally

  • Kate

Good. Both are better off anyway. Brown would be stupid to get back with her. Before people even knew the whole story( We still don’t, both you get it) they were bashing both, but he was bashed the most. Even before pictures! Spea

    • Kate

Stupid iPad. Speaking of pictures. When comes to that picture, people ignore logic. The way the media describes her injuries, there is no way hell, Rihanna would’ve been okay! Stupid iPad. If every other Entertainer on earth can have fans, Brown can too. That took a million years. Stupid iPad.

  • Kate

Oh, please, Allison. True Blue is right. Don’t even try to claim you don’t listen or watch any films unless you’re amish. It goes beyond the people mentioned. Em is very successful.

  • MrNiceGuy

She looks like that subhuman chick that trashed out the Burger King.

  • Malcolm

Rihanna needs to Shut it down..she needs to stop going on magazines..an get some couselin the Girl is still Bitter as HEll.. an she will try to continue to milk it for what is worth she wants people to feel sorry for her she says she doesn’t want to hurt Chris’s career ..but yet she goes an talk about the past Rihanna please go get some couselin an aafter that go to schools an talk about D.V. an not in magazines..get it TOGETHER

    • Amanda

Have you notice that she ONLY talks about Chris when either he is doing well (#1 CD on Pop/R&B Charts & is #2 on the World Charts) or she has something to sell! She is releasing a single this week or next! For the record she could not talk about something she has not experienced! Her parents were in an abusive relationship so she could address it from the stand point of a child!

  • SYA

I THINK (RIHHANA) STILL LOVE {CRISS} THE ONLYTHING THEY MUST TO DO IS TO SIT DOWN AND SOLVE THEIR PROBLEM’S LEARN IN YOUR MISTAKE.

  • Cat

Yes something wrong did happen, it’s over now…so why can’t she and others let it go, you don’t have to judge and try to ruin someone life, with out letting them try to change, if keep bringin it up it will never go away, same was done to michael jackson…if she did’t care she would leave it along!!!!

  • michele

i think rihanna needs to quit actin like she so much better than everybody else cuz she aint and i really feel sorry for her just bcuz she got beat up by chris but its her fault she shudda never didi what she did dhe the one who started the whole agruement she should of left chris instead of argueing with him and startin a big fight ugh i hate when ppl start stuff for no reason!!!
