Beyoncé's 'Till the End of Time' leaks online: Wish this was her first single?

Pop diva Beyoncé is in unfamiliar territory this week.

Her new single “Run the World (Girls)” is languishing at No. 76 on the Billboard hot 100 chart a month after its release. Surely, the combo of its dance-heavy video and her epic performance at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards yesterday should help it rise a bit. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t seem to have “huge hit” written all over it.

Though Beyoncé’s rep says that they have not picked the second single for her upcoming 4 yet, a potential one leaked online this morning. It’s called “Till the End of Time,” and it’s been pulled down from almost every site it was posted to over the weekend, but if you were a quick music-blog draw, you may have gotten the chance to hear it.

If you didn’t, guess what—it’s good! The Afrobeat-love cut sounds more like the new sound she described last year than “Run the World.” Her voice soars over shooting horns, chanting “Say you’ll never let me go.”

It’s giving me Fela Kuti vibes, (which she mentioned as the album’s inspiration recently) mixed with Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Something.” Have you heard “Till the End” yet? Think it’s better than “Run the World”? Let us know.

Loves it! Its definitely 10 times better than RTW, lovely summer breezy TUNE!

  • whats up with

    RTW is ear splitting evil.

  • Ladyli1

Nope. Did not get a chance to here it. But anything is just about better than WRTW! I did love the tech involved in her Billboard performance (it kind of had me sort-of-liking the song with its different remix). But I want her songs to hit me out of the gate, not grow on me.

That was the expression I was looking for:”I want her songs to hit me out of the gate, not grow on me”.That’s the way I feel about RTW too.The song is terrible to me.I think she should have bought out a better song that.

  • True Blue

I will never understand how RTW was chosen to be the lead single. This is light years ahead of RTW. I really hope that the rest of the album surprises me in the best way possible. A madly talented artist like her should be making music that’s on par with said talent.

I don’t think it’s better than RTW … there’s in the same category …I hate love songs with those fast beats … just a preference … I don’t think everyone will like this either … she’s giving me this Shakira vibes about her … nothing innovative here – it’s been done b4 – I love RTW better than this …. I’m sure she has btter songs on this upcoming album.

      Are you… in love… with… the ellipsis? …

    • Mallory

I think that sounds pretty interesting a fast paced love song. As long as everything is smooth and cohesive sounding.

RTW sounds like the producers and Ms. B were hitting the pipe hard in the mixing session. Even calling it a “song” is a stretch.

  • Taryn

I missed listening to this song. RTW is actually quite brilliant. I like the chant feel it has, electro-reggae beat and the harmonies at the end are dreamy. When it’s played in the clubs people go crazy for it. The Billboard performance was one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time.

I heard the song and it’s just OK. It’s nothing special.

From the “News and Notes” page that connects to this page:
“Beyonc’s ‘Till the End of Time’ leaks online: Wish this was her first single?”

Beyonc’s? Really? Where is the proof-reader?

Too bust listening to Lady Gaga’s new CD “Born this Way”. :) Beyonce is good, but will never match Gaga!

lady gaga who? sweetie do your research. lady gaga is useless. her music is straig garbage pop stolen from madonna. she comes off all exagerated for no reason but her music sucks. you know who helped her become a star? anne gibson (black women) she made her.

  • Chante

I just listened to it and YES its much MUCH better than WRTW but still not impressive as some of her past hits. I enjoy the horns and the melody however the lyrics seem childish as if I were listening to Selena Gomez sing about Justin Beiber. I adore Beyonce but so far I’m disappointed in “4”

Run The World is a terrible song. She should have picked a better lead single. If I Was A Boy was also terrible.Crazy In Love,Deja Vu, and all of her Destiny’s Child lead singles were home runs.Run The World just sounds and seems rushed and lazy from her.

    • Chris

Her best songs were Sweet Dreams, Freakum Dress, Suga Mama, and Green light.

    • Andrew

Deja Vu flopped and was equally as bad as RTW, IMO, so I’m not sure as I’d put it in the same category as the other songs.

As for Till The End of Time, I like it fine, but it’s rather harmless. She has yet to bring this big, interesting sound that she discussed previously for this album. Here’s hoping she doesn’t pull a Gaga and build up this album only to deliver sub-par material.

  • Jose

I have heard till the end of time and it is awesome. Let’s hope she releasethiss as the pop single to RTW’s urban single.

  • Dee Jones

I`m surprised that the song is not in the Top 10 already. It`s got all the pedigree for a Hot 100 hit, dance beat, not much singing involved, what`s not clicking?

    • Delon

This song is no better than Run the World. I can’t see it making the Top 10. It sounds like a song for an international sports event. Like the World Cup or the Olympics. Overall it’s awful. It would sound horrendous on the radio.
