Last night the lineup for hip-hop’s premiere festival, Rock the Bells, hit the Internet. Once again, Lauryn Hill and Nas will hit the stage. And there’s a familiar twist: instead of performing a catalog-spanning slew of songs, they and several other icons will perform classic albums in their entirety.
Lauryn, of course, will perform The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. While Nas will drop gems from his debut set, Illmatic. Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface will run through Only Built for Cuban Linx. And Mobb Deep plans to crank out The Infamous.
Tickets for the shows go on sale June 4. Read after the jump for a list of some of the headliners, dates, and venue locations.

Hello? that’s the same thing they did last year.
So excited for Black Star and esp. that they’re doing a show in BOS this year! Had to go down to NYC last summer.
Great article. I can¡¯t wait to hear more about your research tool. If it is as good as your other products, then you will have another winner. Your article pretty much summed up what I have been seeing too. Great to see some hard data.
