After being forced to postpone her North American tour due to laryngitis, Adele has been given the okay to blow her English pipes and hit the stage.
Almost exactly a month ago, she expressed her frustration about having to give her voice a rest. But E! News reports that she’ll resume her U.S. dates as of August 8 (for the full list of dates, click here).
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1 Adele spoke about her ailment: “It’s basically a hole in your vocal chord, but I sang through it, so that’s why it popped,” she said. “But I’m better now. It’s fine. I got the all-clear.”
Glad she’ll be back soon? Let us know.

I adore her voice, and her technique is stellar. I wish she would quit smoking though. It’s sad when singers abuse their instruments like that. I’m glad she’s feeling better now, though.
Americalovescrapfastfivewasgreat. You know Chunky will end up dying here soon, right? The Ham Sandwich Of Doom is a-callin’.
She has an incredible voice! Glad to hear she is ok. Agree with Ace and wish people with amazing voices wouldn’t threaten it with smoking.
Can’t wait to see her in Seattle.
Try a salad. And give up the smokes.
try giving up being an a$$hole and give up the a$$holic-ness
