Taylor Swift is in the middle of a massive, sold-out, record-setting, Beatle-beating tour for her 2010 album Speak Now (which, if you’ll recall, sold a million copies in a single week like it was 1999 or something).
So it makes sense that her latest music video would give viewers a taste of said stage show. New clip “Sparks Fly” features a pretty healthy cross-section of Swift’s Speak Now tour, from the flying balcony she rides during “Love Story” to the giant AC/DC-like bell she rings during “Haunted” to the faux-hoedown that shows up for “Mean.”
And of course, there are shots of the giant glowing tree she sits under during her acoustic set, which finds her breaking out covers of tunes by local heroes (when EW went to go see the show in New Jersey, she busted Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark”). See the full clip here:
What do you think of Swift’s latest video? Does it make you want to go see the show? And isn’t “Sparks Fly” sort of the best song from Speak Now? Sound off in the comments below!

Review: Taylor Swift’s Speak Now Tour

This IS my favorite song on the album and I’m a little disappointed that she didn’t do a “story” video for it… Oh well!
ITS GOOD
Haunted and Enchanted are my faves from the record…
love her
wow great up skirt shot… she is hot and a very talented songwriting..her singing..well…
yep she often wears those leg-hiding funky skirts but she should show those sweet thangs off more they rock!
I love this video. I definitely gives you a taste of what the tour is like without the insane ticket price. When she came to my city I just couldn’t justify the price, so I didn’t go. But, this video is the next best thing and I love the song.
im seeing her in LA at the end of the month. This just made me EVEN MORE EXCITED!
ENCHANTED is the best song on the album. I hope that is a single & gets a video treatment!
Agreed! There was a time when I listened to this song more than twice a day.
good vdeo but doesn’t connect w/lyrcs and story
More homogenization and pre packaged culture that informs no one and does nothing but destroy your identity. True talent is around you behind every corner, but you choose to follow marketing instead of having actual taste. More Vomit for our culture to lap up.
You seriously think you can talk about my Taylor Swift like that? Get a life she’s freaking amazing.
when is taylor ever going to change those dreadful
dresse’s she wear’s her concarts are boring writing on her arms is so childish taylor you are 21yrs old act your age!!!!!!!!!!
Your right, she definitly should dump those silly dresses and wear…well nothing right. Is that what you want. Good grief, im so sick of people saying she should grow up; grow up into what? the party girl, the stripper, or the bong artist…oh that’s right those acts are all covered by someone else. She’s great the way she is, which is easily proved by her sold out shows and her avid fans, of which i am one.
a wanna be pop star, notice i said star not singer, if i want pop its Brittney Spears, if i want country its Lorrie Morgan.
Back to December is still my favorite from this CD, but there aren’t any on it I don’t like. For those of you who don’t like how she dressses, acts, or sings, fine. Go watch whoever you like. I went to one of her “Fearless” concerts and was blown away by her connection with the audience. I’m going to her “Speak Now” rescheduled concert in Charlotte in November and expect it, and her, to be incredible. She’s a sweet kid – leave her alone.
I usually hate concert music video but this one is incredible
This video catches the greatness of this tour really well, but i was really looking forward to a proper video. Her label is in huge debt with us-fans. They got the sales from her and became one lazy mess. Get your s/it together Big Machine.
Looking forward to seeing her in LA.
Must be a shortage of concerts this year. EWWW..
There is a shortage of great shows like hers, you mean.
