I love them! Since the Dixie Chicks won’t come back, they could really take their place. Let’s hope they don’t use their right as an American and speak their minds. We wouldn’t want the whole country to over-react and send them death threats.
This is good that Miranda Lambert has her own girl group! I saw them perform in that CBS special in April nearest to Easter Weekend and they sounded good. Had their own choreographed moves and swagger! And they can sing good as a group. Perhaps this is a good buildup before Miranda’s own solo album in the fall. Even the glam looks the girls are displaying in the photo in front of the trailer is cute. a mix of country life and the city look of their glamorous high end dresses.
I thought that the performance they did in that CBS special in April was a one time only thing, but they got serious about it and made a full album. This may be the one out of left field album I’ll get this year along with the big name artists’ albums I do have now. I like it when artists take risks, especially Miranda Lambert and I hope that she and her girlfriends might get strong sales for the new album.
Saw Miranda Saturday night in NH and she had the girls with her. LOVE THEM — they did a cover of Loretta Lynn’s “Fist City” that I wish they would release because it was FANTASTIC! Can’t wait to get this album–great job ladies!
