Taylor Swift’s celebratory breakup jam “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” has been lodged in the No. 1 spot on iTunes for the last three weeks, but over the weekend, the track was finally dethroned… by another Taylor Swift song.

The pop-country star debuted her new song “Ronan,” a sad, spare lullaby co-written with a mother who lost her 4-year-old to cancer last year, at the Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon on Friday.

Though Swift is known for her autobiographical songwriting, this one finds her playing the role of a grieving mother: “Race cars on the kitchen floor, plastic dinosaurs/I love you to the moon and back,” she sings wistfully.

Give “Ronan” a listen below:

What do you think? Download the song here, if you’d like. According to Swift, all proceeds go to cancer-related charities.
