Shockerz — Bangerz is no. 1.

Media wallflower Miley Cyrus topped the Billboard charts with 270,000 in first-week sales — giving her the eighth-largest debut of the year. (For comparison, her last album, 2010’s Can’t Be Tamed, sold 102,000 in its first week).

Coming in a distant but still impressive second: Panic! At the Disco’s Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, with 83K. Dang! Those kids! Love! Exclamation points!

Drake’s a good holder-upper and he knows it – his Nothing Was the Same stayed strong at no. 3 with 80K; Justin Timberlake dropped harder, landing at no. 5 with a still-not-bad 72K, and Lorde maintained at no.7 with 58K.

Clipse rapper and Friend of Kanye Pusha T bowed at no. 4 with My Name Is My Name moving 74K; the Glee Cory Monteith tribute EP The Quarterback landed at no. 7 with 47K; Korn came in at no. 8 with 45K (so that’s still a thing?); and The Voice Season Three winner Cassadee Pope’s Frame by Frame took the no. 9 spot with 44K.

Rounding out the top 10: Cher, whose Closer to the Truth had the smallest drop of the week — 4% — to sell 38K. Not too bad for her 25th studio album. Yep, 25th. Miley, are you taking notez?
