Let's relive Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea's performance of 'Booty' at the AMAs

Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea performed “Booty” at Sunday’s American Music Awards and while there was no weird lube, there were plenty of butts. Plenty.

Like Lorde, Lopez started off her performance in a box. Unlike Lorde, she spent most of her time in her box jiggling her butt and dancing with Azalea. It’s all a bit like the “Booty” music video until Lopez exits the box to lead a troop of dancers for an impressive choreographed number that shows off Lopez’s booty and her dance skills.  READ FULL STORY

Five lessons Jennifer Lopez can learn from Britney Spears' Vegas residency

With reports that Jennifer Lopez may be signing a two-year deal to perform at Planet Hollywood’s The Axisat a whopping $310,000 per show, no lessthe buzz has begun about what to expect from a potential residency. Though Lopez’s publicist could not confirm the booking at time of press, the rumored residency would land Lopez in the theater currently occupied by Britney Spears. And, after nearly 10 months at her sit-down, Britney could teach J.Lo a few things about how to put on a great show.

J-Lo and Iggy continue the Summer of Butts with 'Booty' remix video

It may be the third week of September, but the Summer of Butts swelters on. Last month, Jennifer Lopez released a remix of her song “Booty,” featuring Iggy Azalea—and now they’ve put out an ass-tastic video to accompany the audio.

The video isn’t as colorful or absurd as Nicki Minaj’s recent ass masterpiece. In fact, Iggy leaves Nicki out of the derrière dialogue completely, claiming “the last time the world seen a booty this good it was on Jenny from the Block.” READ FULL STORY

Jennifer Lopez drops 'Booty' remix featuring Iggy Azalea

In today’s pop-music-and-butts news, Jennifer Lopez released a remix of “Booty” featuring Iggy Azalea, who claims “the last time the world seen a booty this good it was on Jenny from the block.” (Nicki Minaj might disagree.)

The original “Booty,” off J. Lo’s latest album A.K.A., features Pitbull alluding to Bubba Sparxxx’s “Ms. New Booty” and commenting on Lopez’s butt-related skills: “The way she twerk it, not fair.” Azalea prefers to talk about her own skills in her verse on the remix, though, rapping, “They beggin’ me to drop down but right now Iggy on top.” Can’t argue with that—three songs featuring Azalea are currently in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100.

Pitbull's pants steal the spotlight from Jennifer Lopez during the World Cup opening ceremony -- VIDEO

It wasn’t the song, or the Brazilian culture-themed choreography, or even another revealing green getup worn by Jennifer Lopez that stole the show during Thursday’s World Cup opening ceremony. No, everyone was talking about Pitbull’s pants.

Maybe it’s because the sound quality inside the Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo was so terrible — why bother paying attention to the performance when you can’t tell what Pitbull, J. Lo, and Brazilian star Claudia Leitte are actually singing? (For the record, the trio performed the World Cup’s official song, “We Are One (Ole Ola),” but that was only decipherable when the crowd joined in the “Ole Ola” chorus.) READ FULL STORY

Jennifer Lopez will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony after all

Get out the caxirolas — Jennifer Lopez is performing at the 2014 World Cup opening ceremonies in Brazil.

Reps for the singer say reports that she would be unable to attend the soccer extravaganza due to “production issues” were “premature” — even though Lopez’s camp confirmed that she was bowing out on Monday.

But scratch that: A rep for Lopez told People Tuesday, “Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies. We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics. Any statements to the contrary were premature. Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of futbol. She will be there.”

And late Tuesday, Lopez told The Associated Press that she was leaving for Brazil that evening. “We always were going,” she said. “I think people get anxious, especially with me and my schedule when I’m like, ‘Ah, OK, I can leave this day, that day, I don’t know if we can make it. …But we are definitely going.”

Jennifer Lopez skipping World Cup opening ceremony

This week marks the beginning of the 2014 World Cup, perhaps the biggest non-Olympics sporting event in the world. A total of 32 nations will send their best soccer stars to Brazil to compete for the top prize in futbol.

But the star providing its theme song will no longer be attending. READ FULL STORY

Jennifer Lopez's new 'First Love' video -- watch it here

Field trip! Somebody dropped J.Lo off in the Mojave Desert with a dance bag full of leotards and a smoldering bohunk on a motorcycle to film the video for her newest single, “First Love.”

Watch the video that our EW colleague Tim Stack dubbed (not wrongly) “The Grapes of Wrath meets Crossfit” below:

The Michael Jackson hologram appeared at the Billboard Awards, and it was weird

For a guy who passed away nearly five years ago, Michael Jackson sure seems busy lately. His second posthumous album, Xscape, just hit stores (and is refreshingly not embarrassing), and Sunday night he appeared — via the miracle of modern hologram technology — on the Billboard Music Awards to perform “Slave to the Rhythm.”

J. Lo unveils new album's cover art and title -- VIDEO

The singer posted the image and announced the album’s name, A.K.A., via Twitter, adding that the album is “coming soon.” According to Billboard, its release date is set for June 17.
